Whether you are searching for a church home or have questions about the Bible, you are welcome among us.
And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.Revelation 19:16 (KJV)
We are an independent Baptist church. We use the King James Bible, which we believe is the preserved Word of God in English, translated from the Received Text (Textus Receptus).
The Bible is the verbally inspired, inerrant Word of God, and God has preserved His words for every generation. We believe the King James Bible is God's preserved Word for English-speaking people.
2 Timothy 3:16; Psalm 12:6-7; Matthew 24:35
There is one true and living God, eternally existing in three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is a divine Person, equal with the Father and the Son, who convicts the world of sin, regenerates, indwells, and seals every believer.
1 John 5:7; Matthew 28:19; John 16:7-14; Ephesians 1:13
Jesus Christ is God manifest in the flesh, conceived of the Holy Ghost and born of the virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross as our substitute for our sins, was buried, and rose again bodily the third day.
Isaiah 7:14; John 1:1, 14; 1 Timothy 3:16; 1 Peter 2:24; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4
Salvation is by grace through faith alone in the Lord Jesus Christ, not of works. A sinner must repent and believe the gospel. All who are saved are kept by the power of God.
Ephesians 2:8-9; Acts 20:21; Mark 1:15; John 10:28-29
Baptism is by immersion of believers only, picturing the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ. It is an act of obedience after salvation, not a means of it. The Lord's Supper is a memorial of His death until He comes.
Romans 6:3-5; Acts 8:36-38; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26
The local church is an autonomous, self-governing body of baptized believers, with Christ as its Head, free from any outside control.
Matthew 16:18; Acts 2:41-47; Colossians 1:18
Every believer and every church is commanded to take the gospel to every creature, baptize converts, and teach them to observe all things Christ commanded.
Matthew 28:19-20; Mark 16:15; Acts 1:8
We believe in the personal, bodily, imminent return of the Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; Acts 1:11; Titus 2:13

The Bible says that you can know for certain that you have eternal life. Here is what God says:
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;Romans 3:23
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.Romans 6:23
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.Romans 5:8
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.John 3:16
Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:1 Corinthians 15:1-4
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.Ephesians 2:8-9
Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;Acts 3:19
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.Romans 10:9-13
